Kiela Rae Hudgins
Growing up in Wakefield, NE I began singing solos in church around the age of 8 and I fell in love with being in front of an audience. I learned to play guitar at my summer camp job. It's the place I wrote my first song and found my first LOVE and husband, Brian.
I graduated from Wayne State College in 1988 with my BS and later my MSE in Counseling in 1995. Professionally, I started out as a social service worker in a nursing home and mental health facility. After graduating with honors with my Masters in Counseling, I worked as a therapist and college instructor. My specialities were in marriage and family counseling, women's issues, addictions, depression, eating disorders and parenting. Educating people has been my life's work. Writing original music and materials and performing are my life's passions. I created Lifestrums to share them both. With every performance and teaching moment I hope to help people both young and old alike to Learn In a Fun Environment a few lessons about Love, Integrity, Faith, and Empathy.
